About

The Clement Park Gobble Wobble began in 2010 as a fundraiser for the youth programs of the Clement Park Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Funds raised were to help finance camps, youth conferences, service projects and scouting.

The race has continued to grow since its inception. As such, starting with the second year of the race (2011) a decision was made to give a portion of the proceeds to a charitable organization as the proceeds exceeded the fund raising needs of the church. Each year since, funds have been donated from the Gobble Wobble to other non-profit entities.

In 2014 the decision was made to form a separate non-profit organization entitled Gobble Wobble Run. While it is anticipated that individuals from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will continue to support the Clement Park Gobble Wobble, the race is no longer being administrated or executed by the Church. Net proceeds will continue to support youth activities of the Clement Park Ward as well as support other charities as the Board may determine.
